Welcome to CueFloat: Video Teleprompter ("CueFloat", "we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes how CueFloat handles information when you use our mobile application available on Google Play.
CueFloat requests only the specific Android permissions necessary to deliver its core teleprompter capabilities:
Purpose: Allows the teleprompter window to float over your device's camera, video-meeting, or social streaming apps while you record.
Data Safety: This permission is used exclusively to draw the floating text window. CueFloat never monitors, captures, inspects, or reads your screen or any data from other apps running underneath.
Purpose: Displays an ongoing status bar notification while the prompter is running.
Control & Dismissal: This permission is used exclusively to provide you with ongoing playback controls (Play, Pause) and an instant Exit button to completely dismiss/close the floating overlay at any time. We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising notifications.
Purpose: Keeps the floating teleprompter responsive and active while you navigate to your camera app, preventing Android from abruptly killing the prompter window in the background.
Data Safety: Used strictly for overlay window lifecycle and optional on-device voice processing. No personal data is transmitted.
Purpose: Used only when you voluntarily enable voice-assisted features (such as on-device Voice-Activated Auto-Scroll or the live audio level meter).
Data Safety: All audio is processed strictly on-device in real-time. Audio is never recorded to permanent files, stored, uploaded, or transmitted to any server.
Purpose: Allows you to connect wireless Bluetooth presentation remotes, selfie clickers, or headset buttons to control prompter scrolling hands-free (Play/Pause, speed adjustment).
Purpose: Delivers subtle haptic feedback during countdown ticks and remote control clicks.
Purpose: When you choose to import an existing script (.txt, .md), CueFloat uses Android's native system file picker to read only the specific document you select.
CueFloat may integrate Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to display advertisements. Google AdMob may automatically collect and process certain non-personal device information, such as your device's Android Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, and general diagnostic logs to serve relevant ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

CueFloat offers optional in-app purchases allowing users to remove advertisements and enjoy an uninterrupted reading experience:
Payment Processing & Data Security: All financial transactions and payment methods (credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, etc.) are processed directly and securely by the Google Play Billing system. CueFloat and its developers never see, collect, process, or store your credit card or financial information.
Subscription Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by opening the Google Play Store app → Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled in accordance with the standard Google Play Refund Policy.
All scripts and preferences reside solely on your device. When you delete a script inside CueFloat, it is removed immediately. If you clear app data or uninstall CueFloat, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device.
CueFloat is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
